LET’S MEET, HERE’S MY STORY:
After studying Journalism and Electronic Media at the University of Tennessee, I realized losing someone so close to you could make you lose yourself. Losing my father is something I never prepared for, and something none of us can prepare for. Grieving is unexplanatory, it’s different for everybody – especially within my journey. To know me is to read a book; one that my father started; one I don’t know how to end. When I found Full Sail University, I felt whole again. I found a home, an escape and a safe haven. Now, as a multimedia journalist - I plan to share my creativity and influence others with my story. I started writing in a journal when I was in third grade – it was baby blue with a black binding with Sponge-bob on the front of it. This helped me be able to talk about my feelings without having to actually admit to anything, which is still a little true. Writing is an escape for me to express things in ways others can with painting or kickboxing. I was lucky enough to turn my dream into a career.
With years of experience in customer relations, multimedia journalism, social media strategy and design (among other skills below), I’ve learned that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I love working on projects that motivate as well as challenge me to become better.
As a creative seeking to be a part of extraordinary things, I am a problem solver, detail-oriented, and focused on continually learning. I’ve created work that has been recognized as well as showcased at Full Sail University - and I love to use my imagination to my best ability. While being imperfectly perfect, I have been recognized on the Dean’s List at the University of Tennessee in 2017 as well as receiving multiple awards at Full Sail University, including Valedictorian in the class of 2019.
I like my coffee with two creams and three sugars – with a cheese Danish. I also like writing with a pen so even if I mess up, I can still see my mistakes during my progress.
